SRP Kick-Off & Registration

Let's all Do S'More Reading this summer!  June 7th, we'll kick things off with loads of lawn games, activities, prizes and drawings for all ages starting at 6:00 PM.  Then, stick around for our special entertainment at 7:00 PM.

See A Juggler!  Be A Juggler!  With Jason Kollum

Wednesday, June 7, 7:00 PM

It's the super-hit program where kids of ALL ages become rock-star performers! During this hands-on, interactive, and exciting program for all ages, pro juggler, Jason Kollum, will juggle clubs, rings, spinning balls, giant beanbag chairs, and much more—all leading up to a finale that will have everyone on the edge of their seat!  After the show, kids of all ages have the opportunity to try out the skills they got to see in the show!  BYO-seating.  Come rain, or shine. 

SUMMER READING BOOK BINGO (Ages 2-8)

Beginning Memorial Day

What's more fun than BINGO?  Readers of all ages may participate in our very first Summer Reading Book BINGO to win fabulous prizes!  Details on your BINGO card.

BABIES & BOOKS (Ages 0-24 Mos.)

Wednesdays @ 10 AM

Prepare you child to read with songs, games, stories & play!

 

TERRIFIC TS! (Ages 2-3 Years)
Fridays @ 10 AM

Bring Your terrific two or three year old to the library for stories, songs, fingerplay and crafts!

 

BIG KID STORYTIME (Ages 4-8 Years)

Thursdays @ 10 AM

Develop your child’s reading skills, coordination and social skills with thematically related stories, songs, interactive play and crafts.

 

YOUNG CRITICS BOOK CLUB (Ages 7-9)

3rd Tuesday/Month @ 6 PM

Read a featured book, then join fellow young critics to discuss and rate the book, and do an activity that goes along with the story.  Books are available at the circulation desk for checkout.  *Registration required.

 

LITTLE LEONARDOS! (Ages 8-11)

Is your creative child ready for something new?  This elementary-aged art program is not your run-of-the-mill craft course!  With real artists’ techniques and vocabulary in mind, your young artist will be introduced to specific styles and methods to enhance their skills.  Local art teacher, Sarah Loeffelholz, will present materials with attention to detail, while still allowing for your child’s individual expression.  Pick up a flier for more details.

TEDDY BEAR CAMPOUT (Ages 3-8)

Friday, June 30 @ 5:30 PM

Saturday, July 1 @ 9:30 AM

You and stuffed bear are invited to the library for campfire stories, songs and a craft.  After storytime, your stuffed bear will camp out at the library overnight.  Come back at 9:30 Saturday morning to join your teddy for breakfast, and find out what happened at the library once the campfire went out.  *Registration required.
